Assistant Headteacher, Deputy Safeguarding Lead & SENCO
Hi, my name is Katrina Macey. I have been teaching in mainstream schools for ten years and was previously a Special Educational Needs co-ordinator before now moving into alternative provision. My passion is to support children who find the mainstream classroom challenging and to find new and fun ways to engage them in education. Outside of school I enjoy travel and I am a keen baker. I also enjoy aerial arts, learning circus skills using the trapeze, fabrics and hoop.

My name is Demi Burns. I am a teacher at Cornerstone Academy working over multiple sites.
I been teaching since 2018 and I taught in Kuwait for 4 months before returning to the UK due to Covid.   I then worked in a Nursery as a deputy manager before coming to Cornerstone Academy.  I love working at Cornerstone as the children are a privilege to teach.  I feel that teaching has always been the job for me as I thrive to ensure children are given the opportunity to learn.
Outside of school, I enjoy getting out for walks with the dog and I love working with reindeers in the winter.
